Established by the Gaman family in 1996, Rockfield was one of the first wineries to emerge in the picturesque Rosa Glen sub-region of Margaret River. It was immediately obvious that Rosa Glen had a unique and optimal climate and terroir for grape growing, and initial plans to plant a 'few acres' of vines very quickly expanded to 28 acres under vine. Rockfield released its first commercial vintage on the property in 2000.

The Rockfield estate comprises the 28 acre vineyard, along with a 200 tonne capacity winery, cellar door and family homestead on 86 picturesque acres of old dairy land. Sauvignon Blanc vines sit high on the hillside, bounded by natural stands of regrowth jarrah and marri forest; the tea tree fringed Chapman Creek flows through the property at the base of the forest, intersecting the property, with the remaining vines, winery and cellar door located on the valley flats beyond. 

Rockfield wines are carefully handcrafted on the property using the highest quality estate grown fruit. We maintain a strong commitment to producing boutique wines that truly capture the essence of region and variety.
