Rockfield Estate operates its own state of the art winery on site, producing premium Margaret River wines for its own label, as well as providing a contract winemaking service for other local vineyards. All wines are made under the care and craftsmanship of winemaker Andrew Gaman Jnr (above), and consultant winemaker John Durham.

Each year at Rockfield we strive to continually improve our wines, and build on previous successes. Estate grown fruit benefits from our unique terroir and  work to improve soil balance and structure. Grapes are handpicked or machine harvested, according to wine style, and are immediately transported to our on site winery for processing to preserve maximum flavour and freshness. In the winemaking phase we aim for richness of fruit expression, good acid balance, fine tannin development and minimum intervention so the wines can show their full varietal character. Gentle crushing and pressing are complimented by wild yeast ferments and specially chosen barrels where appropriate. Our goal is to produce fine wines of unique personality to appeal to the individuality of our customers.
